Acid Descaler

Low Foam Delimer descaler is a low foaming Phosphoric Acid cleaner that quickly dissolves and removes lime scale, rust, and other hard water deposits. Low Foam Delimer can be used on acid-safe surfaces including many metals such as stainless steel and aluminum in food service or industrial applications. Low foaming – ideal for general deliming of equipment/appliances, descaling dishmachines, kettles, boilers/heat exchangers, HVAC equipment, or for use in Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) procedures.

Directions

Read the entire label and SDS for proper use, handling and storage before using this product.

Glassware: 

  1. Use ½ oz. per gallon of water.
  2. Soak glassware until clear of lime buildup.
  3. Rinse thoroughly.

Steam tables: 

    1. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) before use.
    2. Turn off’steam table and allow to cool.
    3. Empty or drain water.
    4. Spray or brush full strength on heating elements.
    5. Scrub the heating element lightly to remove any calcium
      and lime build up.
    6. If the steam table has high and low water probes, descale
      these items.
    7. Rinse thoroughly and close drain (Do not allow water to stand in wells for long periods of time. Water must be removed from the well and the well cleaned and dried after each use).
    8. Dry after cleaning.

Light to medium lime buildup in dish machines: 

  1. Fill wash tank ¾ full.
  2. Add 1 gallon of Low Foam Delimer to tank.
  3. Turn on machine and circulate until free of lime deposits.

Coffee urns: 

  1. Add 2 gallons of hot water to urn.
  2. Add 3 oz. of Low Foam Delimer, swab down interior, drain, and flush thoroughly.
